Merchant9 Terms & Conditions of Platform Use

Please read this document carefully before registering or using merchant9's services. By accessing this platform, you agree to be bound by all terms stated below. These terms apply to all users in Malaysia.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, accessing, or using any part of the merchant9 platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be fully bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the merchant9 platform immediately.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you as the user and merchant9 as the platform operator. Acceptance includes all policies published on this platform, including the Privacy Policy and Responsible Gaming guidelines accessible via the links on this page.

Continued use of the platform following any changes to these terms will be deemed acceptance of the updated terms. merchant9 reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with reasonable notice provided to users through the platform.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age to register and use the merchant9 platform.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of this platform complies with the laws applicable in their jurisdiction.
  • This service is available to individuals only; business entities or companies are not permitted to register as platform users.

Account Registration & Security

Each user is permitted to hold only one active account on the merchant9 platform. Registration of multiple accounts by the same individual is strictly prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being suspended or closed without prior notice.

During registration, you are required to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information. merchant9 reserves the right to request identity verification at any time, including valid identification documents. Failure to provide accurate information or to submit documents upon request may result in your account being temporarily suspended or permanently closed.

Password Security Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account login details. merchant9 will not be held liable for any losses arising from unauthorised access to your account due to your own negligence. You must notify our support team immediately if you suspect your account has been accessed without authorisation.

  • Do not share your password with anyone, including merchant9 staff.
  • Use a strong, unique password that is not used on any other platform.
  • Log out of your account after each session, especially when using a shared device.

User Responsibilities & Prohibitions

Merchant9 platform users agree to use this service solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Use of the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Activities

  • Using automated software, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the platform without written authorisation from merchant9.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, servers, or other users' accounts.
  • Spreading false, misleading, or unlawful content through any communication channel on the platform.
  • Engaging in any activity intended to unlawfully manipulate game outcomes, bets, or transactions.
  • Using another person's account or allowing others to use your account without merchant9's authorisation.

Violation of any of the above prohibitions entitles merchant9 to take immediate action, including suspending or terminating the account, withholding any existing balance, and reporting suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.

Payments & MYR Transactions

All transactions on the merchant9 platform are conducted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM / MYR). The platform supports local payment methods including FPX (Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, RHB, and other major Malaysian banks), Touch 'n Go eWallet, and DuitNow for the convenience of Malaysian users.

Deposit Terms

Deposits may only be made using a payment method registered in the same account holder's name. merchant9 does not accept third-party deposits. Each successful deposit will be credited to your account within the stipulated timeframe depending on the chosen payment method.

Withdrawal Terms

Withdrawals will be processed to the bank account or e-wallet registered under the same name as your merchant9 account. Withdrawals to third-party accounts are not permitted under any circumstances. merchant9 reserves the right to request additional identity verification before processing a withdrawal, particularly for amounts exceeding certain thresholds.

  • Transactions suspected of fraud or money laundering will be placed on hold pending investigation.
  • Merchant9 is not liable for delays caused by banks or payment service providers.
  • Any transaction dispute must be reported within 14 days of the transaction date.

Liability Limits & Account Policy

Merchant9 shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of or inability to use this platform, including but not limited to financial losses from betting activities, service disruptions, or technical errors beyond the platform's control.

Account Suspension

Merchant9 reserves the right to temporarily suspend an account if suspicious activity, a terms violation, or a user's own request is detected. During the suspension period, the user will not be able to access the account or carry out any transactions. merchant9 will notify the user of the reason for suspension via their registered email within a reasonable timeframe.

Account Closure

An account may be permanently closed at the user's request or by merchant9 on grounds including serious terms violations, confirmed fraud, or proven unlawful activity. Valid balances in accounts closed at the user's request will be returned upon completion of the verification process. For accounts closed due to violations, merchant9 reserves the right to withhold or forfeit any outstanding balance after the investigation is concluded and a final decision is issued.

Intellectual Property, Third-Party Links & Changes to Terms

Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, text, graphics, user interfaces, and source code on the merchant9 platform are the property of merchant9 or its respective licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Users are not permitted to reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any such content without explicit written consent from merchant9.

Links to Third-Party Sites

The merchant9 platform may contain links to third-party websites or services for informational purposes only. merchant9 has no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third-party sites and accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from their use. Users are advised to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site before engaging with it.

Changes to These Terms

Merchant9 reserves the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time at our sole discretion. Users will be notified of significant changes via in-platform notifications or email. Continued use of the platform after such changes take effect will be deemed acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts in Malaysia.
